William A. Albright | William A. Albright, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Albright of 307 Buttonwood Street; Brother to George and Gerald Albright, enlisted for service on May 14, 1942. He served in a coastal artillery battalion in the South Pacific during WWII seeing action on Bataan and Corrigador. Bill was initially listed as Missing in Action after the fall of Corrigador, but had been taken prisoner by the Japanese and held in a prison camp in Indonesia. He held the rank of Private.
